James and Madelaine got married on a beautiful sunny Autumn day on 28th October 2017. They wanted a relaxed and fun vibe with their friends and family and that is exactly what they had. They got married in St Edwards church with Madelaine arriving in serious style in her Dads land rover. After the ceremony James and Madelaine and their guests made their way to The Olive Tree, a quaint pub just down the road for some amazing food and then a lot of partying!
James and Madelaine said they wanted their group photos a bit quirky and fun rather than really formal. We had a lot of fun making these photos, especially using the land rover. With Madelaine wearing a stunning two piece from Needle & Thread, the colours and styles of the bridesmaid dresses and the guys in Tails, all this against the Autumn backdrop made the photos looked incredible.
Due to it being a beautiful sunny day we got the golden hour so were able to get out and get some more romantic shots in the beautiful golden light which is always my favourite time to shoot.
Lastly and definitely not least the amazing flowers!! In my opinion flowers always makes a wedding, the flowers by Kate – the gorgeous flower company- were so stunning. The Autumn bouquet that Madelaine had was so romantic and just complimented her two piece wedding dress in every way.
What a beautiful Autumn wedding! Thank you Madelaine and James for asking me to photograph your special day. ‘A tale as old as time.’
Thank you to Tom Trendell for second shooting the ceremony and reception!
